Google rolled out Android 12 QPR Beta 3 this afternoon. This is the third beta of the upcoming June quarterly feature drop available for compatible Pixel devices. It includes the May security patch received on Monday by all other compatible Pixel models receiving Android’s stable public update.

As with any beta software, Android 12 QPR Beta 3 is not stable and some of the features do not work as you expected. You may also see a temporary drop in battery life. If you use your Pixel as a daily driver, keep that in mind when it comes to deciding whether to install the beta. And it might be a smart move on your part to back up all your data before you start the update process.
Beta testers will still need to clear their pixels to exit the beta program
In case you were wondering, QPR stands for Quarterly Platform Release, which is another way of saying Quarterly Feature Drop. If you’re excited for Face Unlock to be added to your Pixel 6 Pro, let’s see you raise your hand in the comments section below.
