Google is reverting back to its old search page style, abandoning the continuous scrolling feature that was implemented a few years ago. Users will now have more control over their searches and will be able to view results more easily. This change may be a response to users turning to alternative solutions for search due to dissatisfaction with Google’s previous interface. The new change aims to serve search results faster across more searches by eliminating automatically loading results that users haven’t explicitly requested. This shift will bring back the old results page style, allowing users to navigate through results pages more efficiently. While the change may take some time to roll out on mobile devices, users will eventually be able to access the next results page by selecting that option at the bottom of the current results page. It remains to be seen whether this shift will be enough to draw users back to Google or if it is too late for the platform to make these changes.
