Additionally, there are new shortcut suggestions in the address bar on all devices, similar to search suggestions on desktop Chrome. This feature helps prioritize relevant search suggestions based on user behavior. The ‘trending searches’ section in search results is also coming to iPhone and iPad.
The redesigned address bar on tablets follows Google’s Material You design language and offers improved functionality with a top menu for actions on the current page. The Discover Feed on the New Tab page now includes live sports cards for automatic game updates for users who have followed a team or shown interest in a game or team. This feature complements the existing recommended articles, videos, and web content in the Discover Feed.
Google Chrome 126 was released on June 5, 2024, with Chrome 127 set to arrive on July 17, 2024. The new mobile features may require the latest app update to be seen. Overall, these updates aim to enhance the user experience and provide convenient access to relevant information while browsing on Chrome across various devices.
