Google has confirmed that, starting with a release scheduled for July 2026, Chrome will end support for macOS 12 – “Monterey.”
Chrome 150 will be the last version of the browser that will support macOS 12, “Monterey,” with further releases requiring at least macOS 13, “Ventura,” to receive new updates. Chrome won’t stop functioning on “Monterey” anytime soon, but it will no longer receive security updates or new features.
Google has Chrome 151’s release scheduled for late July 2026, but that date could change. Either way, “Monterey” will no longer be supported later on in 2026. Google confirmed earlier this month that Chrome 151 would strip support, but a date wasn’t attached at the time.
