(TNS) – Governor Brian Kemp announced a collaborative initiative between the Technical College System of Georgia, the Georgia Department of Education, the Technology Association of Georgia, and Amazon Web Services to provide 5,500 learners across the country with cloud computing training and education by 2024. Providing Education As part of this initiative, Georgia high schools and technical colleges will offer cloud computing courses and credentials tailored to the skills required to pursue in-demand technical careers.

“The technology industry in Georgia is growing rapidly with exciting job opportunities for Georgians,” Kemp said in a press release. “This collaboration with AWS will ensure our citizens have access to innovative education and training to prepare them for technical jobs in Georgia.”
