Generative AI in the classroom is a “sugar hit” for learning – ABC lists

We know that children and teachers are already using generative AI in the classroom, and the governments of South Australia and New South Wales are already rolling out their own chatbot tools for teaching and learning.

A new report examines what happens to knowledge and cognitive function when you rely too much on this technology, and it’s not all bad.
