General Dynamics challenges competitor’s $ 2.7 billion cloud migration profit

Earlier this month Peraton landed a big fish by winning a $ 2.7 billion cloud migration services contract with the Homeland Security Department.

Now an unsuccessful bidder has filed an objection without surprise. General Dynamics IT argues that the assessment was unfair and that GDIT would have one if the assessment was done properly.

The $ 2.7 billion Data Center Support Services and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) contract has a 10 year performance period if all options are exercised.

Further protests are possible as GDIT and Peraton are only two of seven bidders. The former Perspecta submitted a proposal for the DCCO contract before this company was acquired by Peraton in May.
