As artificial intelligence continues to disrupt industries and workplaces, choosing degrees that can withstand disruption and prepare students for future jobs will become increasingly important.
Monash University’s deputy dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Professor Jean-Guy Schneider, said in recent years there has been a surge in demand for AI studies, particularly at postgraduate level and across all undergraduate courses.
“Of particular note is the increasing interest in double degrees that combine IT with disciplines from across the university and show students that the jobs of the future require not only specialist knowledge in… but also in-depth knowledge of technology.
