Fujitsu was named VMware Global Social Impact Partner of the Year 2021 as part of the VMware Partner Achievement Awards program.

This award honors partners who have made a positive impact on the world through the use of VMware technologies. Fujitsu was recognized by VMware for the results it provided to companies during the COVID crisis.

Among the recent Fujitsu Work Life Shift projects that helped nominate Fujitsu was the 72-hour turnaround time in delivering a solution that enables healthcare professionals in Catalonia, Spain to access critical applications remotely and Access data. The solution for CTTI uses VMware Horizon to manage virtual desktops and applications and is supported by VMware Cloud on AWS to protect and scale the applications.

In a separate virtualization project that was implemented in just three days, Fujitsu supported medical staff by enabling them to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.
