Fujitsu has been named the winner of VMware’s Global Partner Social Impact Partner of the Year Award 2021.
The company announced that it has received the award from the VMware Partner Achievement Awards program. The award recognizes partners for making a positive global impact through the use of VMware technologies. Fujitsu was recognized by VMware for the results it delivered to companies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The nominations included a number of FUJITSU work life shift projects, such as the 72 hour turnaround time in delivering a solution that enabled healthcare professionals in Catalonia, Spain to remotely access critical applications and data. The solution for the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative uses VMware Horizon to manage virtual desktops and applications and is supported by VMware Cloud on AWS to protect and scale the applications.
