Former Telstra CEO Andy Penn has been appointed chairman of Nasdaq-listed artificial intelligence infrastructure provider Sharon AI, bringing local experience to the boardroom ahead of the company’s listing on the ASX.
Neocloud listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol SHAZ in February after raising $125 million ($175 million) and is targeting a secondary listing on the ASX throughout the year. This could put the company in competition with its main competitor Firmus, which is also aiming for a local IPO this year.
