DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A US district judge on Wednesday June 9th sentenced a former home security technician to 52 months in federal prison for repeatedly hacking into the video feeds of customers in northern Texas.
Telesforo Aviles, a 35-year-old former ADT employee, pleaded guilty to computer fraud in January.

“The disgust and hurt I feel when I know that Aviles has been watching me in my most intimate moments is only a fraction of the indignation I feel when I know he was watching my young son,” said a female victim to the court in a declaration of effectiveness.
According to the pleading, Aviles admits that, contrary to company policy, he routinely added his personal e-mail address to the “ADT Pulse” accounts of the customers in order to gain real-time access to the video feeds from home.
