Back in September, Twitter confirmed an issue experienced by many users that resulted in tweets suddenly disappearing while reading. To recap, when users returned to their Twitter feed after inactivity, the user would start scrolling and reading tweets, only to have the feed updated and the partially read tweet now moved further down the feed.

This didn’t make for a pleasant experience in the app, so Twitter is now rolling out the fix that should prevent your feed from suddenly updating. The fix is currently available on Twitter for the web.

As Twitter mentions, the fix lets you decide when to update your feed. According to Twitter, “click on the tweet counter bar at the top”.
