The expansion of digital services and solutions continues to put pressure on IT departments to provide more reliable, scalable platforms.

In 2022 and beyond, Gartner expects IT leaders to include five key components in their strategic roadmaps to ensure the adaptive resilience of their digital platforms. They are:

Software supply chain security

High-profile attacks on IT operations tool vendors like SolarWinds and Kaseya pose a serious and immediate threat to IT resilience. IT and security executives are discovering the very tools that are used to ensure service reliability, resilience, or continuity of delivery , are now a potential target and companies are completely unprotected.
