Google has made a surprising move by changing their annual Pixel launch event from October to August this year. The event is set to take place on Tuesday, August 13th and a promotional trailer hints at what we can expect. It’s likely that the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will be unveiled, with a brief glimpse of the Pixel 9 Pro showing a triple-lens camera on the back. The event seems to have been moved up in order to beat the iPhone 16 launch in September.
In addition to the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, there are rumors of a Pixel 9 Pro XL and a Pixel Fold 2 (or Pixel 9 Pro Fold) being revealed. Other possible devices include the Pixel Clock 3, Pixel 2 tablet, and new Google Pixel Buds. Expect more leaks leading up to the event on August 13th.
