Despite repeated questions about data privacy and security, Facebook says the money keeps rolling in; both Facebook and Microsoft reporting multi-billion dollar results for the quarter.
Facebook posted a record quarterly profit on revenues of nearly $17 billion. CEO Mark Zuckerberg also promised Facebook will work on building new experiences for users.
Microsoft also saw revenues rise; making more than $32 billion in the fourth quarter. But, the company says a shortage of computer chips made by Intel is hurting PC sales and that, in turn, held back sales of its Windows operating system.
