On Tuesday, President Donald Trump issued another ordinance banning eight other Chinese apps. This follows an executive order that banned WeChat and TikTok transactions. The new Executive Order prohibits transactions with Alipay, CamScanner, QQ Wallet, SHAREit, Tencent QQ, VMate, WeChat Pay and WPS Office in order to resolve alleged national security threats.

President Trump used his powers to enact the Executive Order banning the China-related apps because of national security concerns for the information and communications technology and services supply chain, as outlined in a previous executive order.
