On a recent visit to Sydney, Staffbase International GM Neil Morrison warned that inadequate use of AI in communications without clear governance and human oversight could undermine workforce trust.
His visit comes at a time when Australian workplaces are under intense scrutiny for AI-generated communications that appear tone-deaf or impersonal.
“AI tools need to do more than just speed up communication. It’s about creating autonomous knowledge within the organization and trust that has a significant impact on people’s jobs,” said Neil Morrison, General Manager International Markets and Global Chief People Officer at Staffbase.
“Leaders must determine their position and not just accept what AI will generate. They must continue to trust their voice and not the influence of AI over time,” he added.
