We are excited to announce a new feature that allows for a reliable launch on existing Azure Gen1 virtual machines by upgrading them to Gen2 Trusted Release. This upgrade will enhance the security of existing Azure virtual machines by providing critical cybersecurity measures. Trusted Launch virtual machines offer secure boot and vTPM capabilities, which protect against rootkits and boot kits, and allow for certification by measuring the VM’s boot chain. To take advantage of this feature, simply complete the enrollment form to sign up for the private preview with your Azure subscriptions.
