ChatGPT is about to get even hotter. Sam Altman, chief executive of the artificial intelligence chatbot’s parent company, says it’s about giving adults more freedom to use AI as they wish.
But experts from various fields, including OpenAI’s own wellbeing panel, have raised a range of concerns about what this will mean for children’s mental health and safety.
ChatGPT is set to enable “verified adult erotica” next month, but there are still many questions about what exactly that means and what the consequences might be.
