eOracle and Hexagate introduces the Gate Protocol Security Oracle for a ‘DeFi Firewall’

Hexagate, a leader in Web3 security, is launching The Gate Security Oracle, a new decentralized security protocol built on the eOracle stack, a powerful Actively Validated Service (AVS). This collaboration aims to enhance trust within the decentralized finance (DeFi) community by introducing the first decentralized security protocol based on machine learning.

Yaniv Nissenboim, Co-Founder and CEO of Hexagate, highlighted the significance of the partnership, emphasizing the need for decentralized security in the evolving digital space. By teaming up with eOracle, Hexagate aims to pioneer a new wave of innovation by leveraging the OVS model, which promotes modularity in the middleware layer.

One of the critical challenges faced by decentralized protocols is balancing decentralization with a robust infrastructure that ensures security and trust. The EigenLayer AVS, supported by billions of dollars in staked Ethereum, addresses these issues by harnessing Ethereum’s security in staking. The eOracle protocol, with over $5 billion in staked ETH and a vast network of stakers and validators, provides a resilient oracle solution for the crypto community.

Matan Si, founder of eOracle, emphasized the importance of developing a modular and programmable layer to enhance security and scalability in blockchain solutions. The eOracle protocol leverages Ethereum validators and staked ETH to ensure shared security, paving the way for innovation in middleware through the AVS model.

The eOracle DeFi Firewall, built on the eOracle stack, integrates Hexagate ML models to enhance security for on-chain protocols. By utilizing the OVS model, developers can preemptively mitigate risks and maintain decentralization without compromising security. This innovative approach enhances blockchain modularity, connectivity, and computational bandwidth, promising a new era of secure and scalable applications in the DeFi landscape.
