The “AWS Partner Experience Transformation” blog series discusses the latest updates to the AWS Partner Programs, AWS Marketplace, and AWS Partner Central. With a focus on driving partners to new heights of productivity and profitability, 10 enhancements were announced at AWS re:Invent 2023 to facilitate collaboration on innovations, deliver greater value to customers, deepen and diversify offerings, and boost revenue growth across different business models.

One key area of focus is expediting migrations with new MAP incentives, streamlining processes, scaling funding, and offering Strategic Partner Incentives (SPIs). The BOX Program was introduced to foster business outcomes, providing tools, resources, and financial incentives for partners to build, market, and sell outcome-driven solutions in AWS Marketplace. The ISV Workload Migration Program was expanded to help partners migrate on-premises workloads to SaaS, unlocking a larger potential market and providing funding, technical enablement, and go-to-market support.

Enhancements were made to elevate the Managed Services Provider experience with new benefits, including Managed Services Build Essentials, Managed Services Build Workshop, discounts, AWS Partner Equip Virtual Series, and increased funding. Partners can also benefit from simplified Services Partner Tier requirements to accelerate their time to market, with a shift to case studies instead of public references to showcase AWS expertise.

AWS Distributors now offer expanded support for resellers, streamlining the process for engaging and reselling AWS services and providing operational, technical, and business development support. Demand generation is being driven with new levers in AWS Marketplace, including reduced listing fees, professional services resell feature, agreements and renewals dashboard, and future dated agreements.

The integration of AWS Partner Central and AWS Marketplace accounts enables partners to enhance business productivity and streamline the AWS Marketplace listing experience. Partners can access consolidated insights and data, marketing campaigns, training and certifications, funding insights, and improvements to opportunities and leads tabs. As AWS continues to enhance the AWS Partner experience, partners are encouraged to explore new benefits and programs and leverage support from their AWS Partner team to maximize opportunities and thrive in the dynamic cloud landscape.
