This device, based on a 5nm process, uses Marvell’s PAM4 DSP technology to enable short-reach copper interconnect solutions for accelerated infrastructure. The AEC silicon market is expected to grow significantly, reaching $1 billion by 2028 according to 650 Group. Marvell’s new 1.6T DSP for AEC aims to provide optimized interconnection solutions for different cloud AI architectures. Analysts note that Marvell and Broadcom lead the custom chip market, driven by the demand for AI applications. Marvell’s stock traded up 1.24% at $69.10 as of the latest report.
