ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, SD – In late June, Ellsworth’s 28th Security Forces Squadron became the first Air Force Global Strike Command unit to receive a new M4 rifle.

The M4A1 carbine rifles replace older models and have a one-sided safety and a three-shot shot.
