DOVER – Serial entrepreneur Chris Morris was working on his latest idea when he received an email informing him about a new Impact Accelerator program aimed at Black founders, started by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
“I was actually shocked because you don’t see something like that very often. There aren’t many programs like this specifically for black founders,” he said.
AWS, e-commerce giant Amazon’s website hosting and development services, launched a $30 million commitment to early-stage startups led by underrepresented founders, as well as the first program that AWS Impact Accelerator for Black Founders.
