At a recent animation festival in Japan, Iizuka Naomichi — the director behind Japan’s “first AI anime” to be broadcast nationally, Twins Hinahima — countered arguments against AI by stating that, instead of taking jobs, it will result in new “opportunities” for Japan’s animators.
