Didier Contis named interim chief information security officer after Jimmy Lummis left Tech

Jimmy Lummis, Georgia Tech’s chief information security officer (CISO), left the information technology office in late January for another professional opportunity and more time to devote to personal endeavors. He will continue to work as a part-time faculty member at the institute.
“Jimmy was instrumental in adding critical teams to our cybersecurity office to oversee operations, services, risk, and compliance,” said Daren Hubbard, vice president of information technology and chief information officer. “Under his leadership, Cyber Security set up multi-factor authentication, endpoint management and protection.
