Delete Google My Activity, Then Clear Chrome History

Deleting everything shown in Google My Activity can leave your Chrome browsing history intact: Google’s activity deletion instructions explicitly warn that activity may remain in your browser. To remove the account record, open My Activity in the intended Google Account and choose Delete, All time, Next, then Delete.

To remove visited pages from Chrome’s History page, clear Chrome’s Browsing history separately and choose All time. The Chrome browsing data guide distinguishes browser data from searches and other activity saved through Google services. If Chrome history is saved to your Google Account, deleting that saved browser data can also remove it from other signed-in devices; a separate local profile still needs checking.
