Cyrebro, a specialist in cloud-based security operations, locks up $40 million • TechCrunch


    The cloud and the growing number of assets stored and used in cloud services has become a major cybersecurity focus over the years. Today, a startup using the cloud in a different way — to run a security operations center in it — announces a funding round to expand its operations. Cyrebro — an Israeli startup built around a team of cybersecurity specialists who monitor enterprise networks and leverage both Cyrebro’s proprietary automation tools and other security applications a company uses to protect data and infrastructure — has $40 million dollars collected.

    The funding, a Series C, is being led by Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), with new backer Elaia and previous investors Mangrove Capital Partners, Prytek, Bank Mizrachi and InCapital Group also participating.
