Cyberpunk 2077 now has a mod that allows PC gamers to experience the open world role-playing game from the perspective of a third person.
As you no doubt know, the game is usually played in the first person – aside from the drive where you can choose from different perspectives behind the vehicle – but some people have expressed a desire to play in the third person. Person all the time (or at least immersed in that view).
Well, that’s a reality with Jelle Bakker’s ‘JB – TPP’ mod which gives you a third party perspective (in fact, there is a choice of four camera views to cycle through) but with limitations as the mod is unique as in Work in progress marked.
As Tom’s hardware points out that once the mod is tested, it works well enough in more open areas – with some glitches – but can appear quite bad indoors, especially in tighter spaces like an elevator where there is little wiggle room.
Animation misfires
In short, there are some serious camera issues that need to be fixed, and the big problem here is that aiming and firing weapons leads to some very weird animations. Even so, these bugs could be fixed if the mod is edited further. So this seems like one to consider for those who would prefer to give up the Cyberpunk 2077 first-person perspective.
You can download it from Nexus mods, with the installation instructions provided there (see the following video clip to see the mod in action). There is already a list of bugs that can be fixed, e.g. B. the disappearance of the main character’s head (which apparently has already been fixed, with the bug being applied in version 4 of the incoming mod).
There are quite a few mods for Cyberpunk 2077 that allow you to tweak the game in a variety of ways, including adding a zoom for the minimap and better vehicle handling – let’s face it, driving a car is pretty nervous – and a lot more .
