There is currently no hotter technology than Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). One would think that the rise in home working, driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, was the main reason for interest in SASE, but in reality the dynamic started before that. Working from home was certainly a catalyst for this, but the rise of the cloud and the move to SD-WAN required a new security model.
