As Oracle has joined the list of Amazon, Meta, Google and Microsoft in cutting thousands of jobs, a corporate recruiter has issued a blunt reminder to employees: loyalty and good performance don’t guarantee job security. According to reports, nearly 30,000 Oracle employees learned of their layoffs through early-morning emails, underscoring the suddenness of such decisions.
