There are plenty of wild rumors floating around the internet in front of Apple’s big Mac on Monday. New leaks have appeared That said, the MacBook Pro will get a notch and an edge-to-edge display. There is also a lot of discussion about the color options Apple will be offering. We wanted to see what the new MacBook Pro could look like with all the rumors put together.

Let’s start with the color options. Apple has been offering the MacBook Pro in silver and space gray since 2016. They also offered the MacBook and MacBook Air in gold color options. This year, Apple took a different approach to its classic dual silver and space gray color scheme. They offer new devices like the iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch Series 7 in starlight and midnight colors. Pro devices like the iPhone 13 Pro and iPad Pro will continue to be offered in more neutral colors like silver and graphite.

So what will Apple do with the new MacBook Pros? You will surely want them to look as new as possible. So it cannot be ruled out that the new MacBook Pros will appear in the starlight and midnight. Lots of users have asked for matte black MacBook Pros, and midnight would get pretty close to that.

The notch at the top of the display is sure to be controversial if the rumor goes up. L.eaked circuit diagrams Show an oddly shaped notch that doesn’t house Face ID. It looks like Apple might be planning a notch to hold a much better camera. If so, we hope Apple will add new features like Center Stage and include a sensor that is significantly larger than the current models.

By adding the notch, you can also slide the display to the edge on all sides. There has to be a camera somewhere and a notch is the only logical choice alongside thicker, uniform bezels. The displays are far too thin to be able to place the camera behind the display, not to mention the fact that the technology is simply not there yet.

The new MacBook Pros should be available in both 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. The 16-inch size isn’t new, but if the display size stays the same and goes edge-to-edge, the larger MacBook Pro’s overall body may be smaller. The 14-inch model would be completely new to the MacBook Pro. Apple hasn’t even built a 14-inch notebook since the iBook G4 in 2003. The bezels of the current 13-inch MacBook Pro are quite thick, so it is possible that Apple could leave the case the same size and push the display to the edge.

Apple is widely expected to add a number of ports with the first Touch Bar model of the MacBook Pro that were removed in 2016. Information leaked shows Apple is adding the SD card slot, HDMI port, and MagSafe port back to the MacBook Pro.

The star of the show will of course be the latest generation Apple Silicon processor that Apple builds into these machines. M1X is likely to be the name of the chip and will likely be based on the architecture of the A15 processor. It will also certainly have significantly better graphics performance than the M1 Macs, although they are already very good.
