TOWN OF ULSTER, N.Y. — A Columbia County dairy company could soon be moving into the former IBM property’s east campus.
The Ulster County Economic Development Alliance voted to sign a non‑binding “letter of intent” with the Ancramdale-based Ronnybrook Farm Dairy to bring a production facility and cold storage warehouse “on UCEDA‑owned property within iPark 87,” according to an Ulster County announcement on Monday.
The Alliance and Ronnybrook will negotiate a full lease agreement for the project within 180 days, officials said.
In an interview Tuesday, Deputy County Executive Amanda LaValle, who is also vice president of the Alliance, said the letter of intent outlines the broad parameters of the lease, which will see Ronnybrook occupy two buildings on a 7.4-acre parcel owned by the Alliance on the east campus.
