The partnership will leverage SHARK.X, a new open, hybrid, and multi-cloud platform that integrates IBM hardware and software components to support AI applications and data management. Telefónica Tech will offer specialized services to assist clients in deploying the platform and implementing AI use cases tailored to their business needs.
SHARK.X will incorporate IBM technologies such as IBM Cloud Pak for Data, IBM Watsonx AI and Data platform, and Cognos and Planning Analytics to enable data collection, analysis, and governance. The platform will support traditional and generative AI initiatives, data governance, and security measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
