IBM, in collaboration with the Canadian and Quebec governments, is investing C$187 million ($139.6 million) in its semiconductor manufacturing facility in Bromont, QC. The Bromont plant, with 52 years of operation, is one of the largest chip assembly and test facilities in North America.
