Cloudflare is best known for its network infrastructure and security technology, but its DNS resolver 1.1.1.1 is aimed directly at consumers. This service hides your DNS requirements and protects important information from your ISP. The optional Warp feature can improve your browsing speed while still providing some – but not all – of the protection features of a VPN. 1.1.1.1 and Warp will improve your online privacy, but we were surprised at the incompatibility issues this product encountered.

What is 1.1.1.1?

It’s important to start by saying that 1.1 is 1.1 Not a VPN. A VPN encrypts all of the data on your device and sends this information to a server controlled by the VPN company. This process hides your real IP address and prevents your ISP or a spy on your network from monitoring your traffic.
