Cloud infrastructure spending Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and other Amazon Web Services companies reached $ 39.9 billion in the fourth quarter of last year – an increase of $ 10 billion from a year earlier.

Overall, AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud accounted for 58% of industry sales. For the full year, cloud spending increased 33% from $ 107 billion in 2019 to $ 142 billion.

AWS remains the top cloud provider with a 31% share of total spending in Q4 2020, which is slightly below that 32.4% share in the fourth quarter of 2019. Even so, sales in the fourth quarter of 2020 rose 28% year over year.
