Beleaguered software giant Atlassian faces a potential class action lawsuit from U.S. shareholders as law firms seek to recruit disgruntled investors who lost money when the Sydney-based company’s shares fell sharply in the dramatic sell-off of software-as-a-service shares on artificial intelligence fears.
The company’s shares have fallen nearly 70 percent over the past year amid concerns that the rise of AI-powered coding tools will lead to fewer software developers using Atlassian’s products and that the software could be easily cloned by users with little technical knowledge.
