According to Benkler, Citrix is expanding its platform through a series of acquisitions, technology partnerships and product capabilities.

“[What] Citrix has been doing for decades is securing the work,” Benkler added. “We were always talking about humans accessing applications.

“At the end of the day, you need to secure the work they are doing in the same way, and that’s where we can help with our platform and technologies.”

There are multiple layers involved in protecting endpoints, AI agents and sandbox environments, including AI gateways within NetScaler, he said.

As organisations navigate those increasingly complex security requirements, channel partners are expected to play a larger role in implementation, integration and advisory services. That’s why Citrix’s channel program is being refreshed to adapt and not on an annual basis, said Sullivan.
