Cisco Systems CSCO, the networking, security and observability company, rose approximately 2.0% to $115.08 at 11.14am ET on October 6 as its planned October rollout brings Supermicro GPU systems into its authorized sales channel. The pitch is bigger than faster switches: Cisco wants customers buying the infrastructure around their AI workloads, too. The valuation picture shows shares 53.26% above the $75.09 GF Value™ estimate, leaving a hefty premium for that growth story to justify.
Customers can buy liquid- or air-cooled Supermicro servers alongside Cisco networking, distributed security and Splunk observability. Cisco’s architecture FAQ describes validation services designed to check the complete system against reference designs before deployment. That could ease the work of getting expensive GPU clusters running. But the launch documents provide no system pricing, partner economics or orders tied specifically to the expanded package.
