Tesla has tried to capitalize on China’s ambitious targets for reducing CO2 emissions

Chinese regulators have summoned representatives from U.S. electric car giant Tesla after reporting technical problems with their vehicles, particularly those related to their safety, Beijing officials said Monday.

The news comes months after two recalls of the company’s vehicles in China, the world’s largest auto market.
