Beijing | China’s exports and imports grew faster in May, beating forecasts, as booming demand for artificial intelligence hardware offset disruptions from the war in Iran.
Exports rose more than 19 percent year-on-year, the strongest in three months, according to a statement from the General Customs Administration on Tuesday. That compares with the average forecast of 15 percent in a Bloomberg survey of economists.
