China’s cybersecurity officials opened investigations into three more apps operated by US-listed companies just a day after instructing the country’s smartphone app stores to remove Didi Chuxing for misusing customers’ personal data. Chinese regulators are taking action against the country’s technology companies through stricter data security regulations.

The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said in a statement Thursday that it had opened an investigation into Boss Zhipin, an online recruitment platform operated by Kanzhun. The Beijing-based company, which claims to be the largest online recruiting website in the country, debuted on Nasdaq in mid-June after raising $ 912 million.
