All over social media, people are posting cartoonish caricatures of themselves. The artist? ChatGPT.
A new viral trend has people around the world uploading photos of themselves to the OpenAI platform and asking it to create a workplace image of them based on their chat history. An exaggerated cartoon appears with a background scene reminiscent of her professional life. They then share the results online.
The trend is spreading quickly, with everyone from news anchors and radio hosts to doctors, forensic scientists, road safety experts, real estate agents, personal trainers and teachers trying it out. Most people use this prompt after uploading a photo: Create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me. Command Prompt also works with other generative AI tools like Google Gemini, although the majority of images shared online are linked to ChatGPT.
