Certain VMWare products are practically free for personal use on a PC

When Broadcom acquired VMware, there were concerns about the future of VMware‘s products. However, Broadcom has sold off some products and announced that Workstation Pro and Fusion Pro will now be available for free for personal use. Both versions will also have a “Paid Commercial Use” subscription option for organizations. There is no functional difference between the free and paid versions, except for a watermark on the free version. Users now have the choice to use either version. The only downside is the loss of Workstation Player and Fusion Player, as the Pro versions are now free. Overall, Broadcom’s decision to offer Workstation Pro and Fusion Pro for free for personal use shows unexpected generosity and potential benefits for users.
