CBA is conducting an early test of the “Frontier” AWS AI agent

CBA has conducted an early, non-production test of a “DevOps agent” unveiled by AWS last week, marketed as a new type of AI agent that can run autonomously and handle more complex tasks.

AWS used its annual re:Invent conference in Las Vegas to publicly introduce the first three of the so-called “Frontier Agents.”

“Frontier agents represent a new class of AI agents that are autonomous and massively scalable, working for hours or days without constant intervention,” it says in blog posts.

According to AWS, the DevOps agent is intended to be an “always-on, autonomous standby service.”
