Capcom has confirmed Lady Dimitrescu, aka the great vampire, from Resident Evil Village 9’6 “tall.
In one TweetResident Evil Village art director Tomonori Takano said Capcom wasn’t expecting this Resident Evil Vampire and her daughters to become so popular. Everyone is talking about Lady Dimitrescu; about her size, her piercing yellow eyes and her … well, more seductive features. But now Capcom has put the character size discussion to rest, and holy hell, “big” is a severe understatement.
“Lately, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a lot more attention than we expected. It’s great that they can stand in the spotlight as icons of Resident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu in particular has received a lot of fanfare both at home and abroad, which made us all very happy on the development team, “wrote Takano.
With a height of almost three meters, she ducks under door frames like Mr. X from the Resident Evil 2 remake. Hell, Mr. X looks like he can nearly fit through the average 7ft door, meaning Lady Dimitrescu is likely enthroned above him.
There’s no telling whether Capcom decided on the size of the character based on a specific calculation or whether it just needed a number to settle the debate, but the studio has confirmed that Lady Dimitrescu measures 9’6. ” With Her hat and high heels make her true size closer to a 9 foot level. Still, it’s incredibly big, even by Resident Evil lore.
