As a result, the Red Bulls Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez remained the undisputed leaders and extended their lead in both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships with a 2-1 lead.
Will it be different at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve? Well, as a track it has more in common with Baku than Monaco. It’s fast, has several flowing corners and a long start-finish straight. Instead, there are several chicanes and a switchback, as well as plenty of overtaking opportunities.
