The device in question seems to be the Galaxy A22s 5G in case you’re wondering. The phone was listed on the Google Play Console as model number SM-A226B. It shares the same model number as the upcoming Galaxy A22 5G.
Budget The Samsung smartphone is said to use the Dimensity 700 SoC from MediaTek
The MediaTek MT633 SoC is mentioned, and that is the model number behind the Dimensity 700 processor. The source also notes that the phone contains 4GB of RAM. Android 11 will come pre-installed on the device along with Samsung’s custom user interface.
The Galaxy A22s 5G will appear to be essentially a renamed Galaxy A22. A render of the front was shown in the Google Play Console. You can check it out under this paragraph.
As you can see there will be a notch for displaying water drops. A flat display will be included as well as a rather thick “chin” under the display. This bezel is considerably thicker than any of the other three bezels on the phone. All of the phone’s physical buttons appear to be on the right.
If that leads to a rebranding Galaxy A22 5G when we can expect a FullHD + display to be included. Incidentally, this display measures 6.5 inches.
The device is started in four color variants
A 48-megapixel main camera has been mentioned in rumors. The device can be started in four different colors. It will reportedly be available in gray, light green, purple and white.
The Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G could hit the market very soon. There’s no indication of when this could happen, but considering it has already popped up on the Google Play Console, chances are it’s coming soon.
The device will of course be pretty affordable too. This is essentially an entry-level smartphone from the Galaxy A series of smartphones, so a lower price point is expected.
